Friends

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope Santa brought you everything you could ever wish for. Plus Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all men, etc etc. But seriously, Santa. (Kidding, kidding!)

I have a few brief hours before I'm off to work, covered in glitter and tinsel and anything else the nurse-in-charge will let me get away with, including my new mini Ten doll, who shall be coming in my pocket so I don't feel too miserable about not being able to watch live (Please don't text me about it. I'll be watching when I get home). But I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent me beautiful cards, they were very much appreciated. If you are abroad, substitute Christmas Cards are coming your way. Some have got there already but others haven't quite made it, I'm sorry. If you are in London, I shall be bringing presents (Christmas and a few Birthday!) down with me on the 30th, on the way to Sweden. If you are called Angie or Katie, you shall be recieving yours at a similar time. :P

After some (anguished) days trying to pack and repack my stuffs, finally the moving day is here!
Well, not finally because I honestly don't want to move. This apartment is great, the view is wonderful and I truly feel safe here. When I lived in São Paulo I lived at three different places. Loved the first and the last ones, but I never could feel at home (or even safe on the streets) when living in the second one.
I hope when I finally find somewhere else to go (yeah, I'm moving today, but I don't have a place to go yet...will look for it only after the vacation) I can feel as safe and at home as I feel here. But I'll miss my friends.

Yesterday I went to see my friend's play. I confess the only thing I could think about while I was watching (it's an amateur theatre group) was Chris Pine. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I was trying to understand how the actors feel before (and during) a presentation. and then I remembered the last play I watched. It was with Adriana Esteves and Marcos Paulo, about Lampião and his wife (I forgot the name...jeeez). Acting is definitely amazing. Acting on movies and tv programmes are good, but the thrill of acting on a theatre can't be compared. At least I think. You can't do anything wrong (and if you do, you have to adapt so you won't show your mistake), you're seeing the audience, you can't do again so you can be better the second time....It's kinda magic.

Tonight I'm going to watch Avatar. I'd want to watch on 3D, but they don't have subtitle copies here (they asked but it didn't work they said to me)  and I won't watch dubbed. I prefer watching on a normal cinema, but not watch dubbed.

For anyone who's ever owned a cat knows this is true apart from maybe the baseball bat ;-)

I'm moving. You can't imagine how tired I am. I totally hate packing even for traveling, imagining for moving.
The good thing is that this is the chance to give things to donation (and I have lot of stuffs stuck here).

Next month I won't be able to use internet. At least not so much, as I'll be on vacation. And I really need it. These last days have been exhausting. I'm not even being able to watch my tv programmes.

Anxious to watch Avatar. Maybe next monday?

I'm quite disappointed. I simply can't watch the BBC Doctor Who Adventure Calendar because it's not for my area.
Someone has any idea what can I do to see this?
